Outreach  Ministries

We have  a mobile food ministry we call "Soul Food". Every fourth Friday of the month.

Volunteers from the church come together and prepare a Free Community Meal for anyone in need.

Evangelist Wanda Manis and Sister Callie Yarberry  are the directors and deliver to the sick and shut-ins,as well as providing  an encouraging word and prayer.

Others also assists in delivery. We serve around 50-75 meals.

Anyone wishing to help with donations of food or money, see  Sister  Wanda, Sister Callie or Sister Joyce Chandler. God is blessing this effort mightily.

Serving God  by serving others

One of our favorite missions project has been "Little Dresses for Africa.

We have sewn around 300 dresses for this worthwhile organization.

Again, not just the Leading Ladies, but our church as a whole came together including the Brotherhood,

who helped out with ironing and donations and prayers.

We have a prayer link that is ready at a phone call to start a prayer chain going as any needs arise.

These are dedicated women and men of God who know and believe that God answers prayers.

At the start of the school year, we collect school supplies for the needy.

In the month of October, we start our annual winter coat drive for those in need.

Along with our church we do various fund raisers for worthwhile causes.

We did a Vintage Fashion Show as a fundraiser to support the Jamaica Missions.

We had a fabulous time and the show was a success enjoyed by every one.

We are now in our sixth year of our Nursing Home Ministry in Sevierville at the Fort Sanders Sevier Nursing Home on Middle Creek Rd.

We minister in song and devotions every other Sunday at 4:00 pm. God is blessing us so much in this ministry.
